Why a Galentine's spa party works in February
February in the Midwest is often gray, cold, and long. So a warm, glowing evening indoors feels like a small rescue.
Also, friends rarely make time for each other without a reason. Galentine's Day gives you one. First, everyone gets a relaxing mini-facial from a licensed esthetician, a licensed skincare professional. Next, the group gathers to blend perfume or mix lip color together.
Even better, nobody has to cook dinner for eight. Our team styles the room in blush, red, or soft neutrals. Then we pack out at the end, so the host enjoys the night too.
Ask each friend to write a short note about why she loves another guest. Read them aloud while everyone tries her new blend.
Stations made for sharing
Pick the stations that fit your crew. Usually, two or three is plenty for one evening.
Mini-Facials
First, friends take turns for a relaxing mini-facial round. Meanwhile, everyone else keeps the conversation going.
Perfume Bar
Every bottle is an eau de parfum, meaning a concentrated perfume with about 50% fragrance material. Blend from scratch, or simply choose a house signature.
Lip Lab
A pink and red fringe backdrop, like the one pictured, practically begs for photos. Guests mix a high-shine gloss or a soft-matte lip cream, which is a liquid lipstick with a velvety finish.
Skincare Bar
Friends make a body butter, lotion, scrub, or facial moisturizer. Bases arrive unscented, so each woman scents her own.
Bath and Body Bar
Mix bath salts and botanicals for a winter soak. Then each guest takes home a handmade bath bomb.
Candy Bar
Our own carts and glass apothecary jars bring a sweet finish. Also, it is the quickest station of the night.

Our stations need about 12 x 6 feet and two 6-foot tables. Also, we can bring tables for $30 each.

Rotate hosts each year. That way, this time, someone else's couch takes a turn.
A hotel suite
Book a suite downtown and make it a sleepover. Then breakfast becomes part of the celebration.

Dinner plus a station or two keeps the evening easy. Just check the room's layout with us first.
Mokena studio
From January 2027, our private party room hosts up to 40. It is BYOB for adults and has a kitchen for your snacks.
From invitation to goodnight
- Reach out early. First, reserve 3 to 6 months ahead, since February weekends fill first.
- Pick a palette. Next, share your colors and stations. We customize decor, signage, and florals.
- Hold the date. Then approve your itemized proposal and pay a 50% deposit.
- Personalize it. Custom labels are a paid add-on. Order them at booking, about 4 weeks ahead.
- Celebrate. We arrive 1 hour early and pack out after. So you just enjoy your friends.
