The Bath & Body Bar: our favorite of all employee wellness event ideas
The bar is a styled apothecary spread. Apothecary is the old word for a pharmacy, and our bar has that look: glass jars, botanicals, and soft linens.
Guests build their own bath and body products from:
- Foaming bath salts and fine Himalayan salts
- Sugar scrubs and body oils
- Botanicals such as rose petals and dried citrus
- Premium fragrance chosen by each guest
Then each guest picks a handmade bath bomb to round out her set. Then everything is jarred and labeled at the station.
Why it works for wellness weeks and appreciation days
First, it is calm. There is no competition and nothing to win, so everyone can join in. Second, it moves quickly, which keeps lines short during a lunch hour or a shift change.
In addition, it runs without power at most venues. As a result, it is easy to set up in a lobby, a cafeteria, a break room, or a benefits fair. Finally, the gift goes home, and that is where wellness actually happens.

Our founder, Cheryl Gleason, is a cosmetic and skincare formulator and a trained perfumer. The scents on our bars come from the same natural materials she uses in perfume.
We provide full ingredient and allergen disclosures for every product. Guests can also make a product to take home without applying anything to their skin. See our allergens and safety page.
Branding and logistics
Jars carry our label as standard, or yours with your logo or wellness program name. Custom labels are printed in advance, so allow about four weeks.
We provide a certificate of insurance naming your venue and arrive one hour before your first guest. You provide about 12 x 6 feet of space and two 6-foot tables, or we bring tables.
Pricing
Every wellness event is quoted per event, so you pay only for what your event needs. Your quote reflects headcount, hours, staffing, and any custom labels. Send us your date and headcount, and we will reply with an itemized proposal within two business days.
