A Spa Party for Moms Who Deserve a Night Off
A spa party for moms is a simple gift: one evening where nobody needs a snack, a ride, or a signature. Glitters & Grace brings licensed estheticians, a skincare bar, and a perfume bar right to your door. So you host, and we handle the rest.
This page is for the grown-up version, with moms only. Want the little ones there too? Then our mommy and me spa day is the better fit. We also host ladies' nights in Chicago for any group of friends.

- Moms only
- Licensed estheticians
- Quoted per event
- Fully hosted
Why a spa party for moms feels different
Moms spend most weekends hosting for everyone else. Birthday parties, team dinners, and holiday mornings all run through them. However, it is rare for moms to sit down and simply be the guests.
That's why this evening flips the script. First, a licensed esthetician, meaning a licensed skincare professional, gives each mom a relaxing mini-facial. Then friends gather at the skincare bar to make something for their own skin. Meanwhile, the perfume bar waits for anyone who wants a scent of her own.
Plus, there is nothing to set up or scrub afterward. Our team arrives early, styles the room, and packs out at the end. So the only job left is catching up with friends you rarely see without the kids.
Send the invitation for a weeknight after bedtime, around 7:30. Moms can tuck kids in, then slip out for a self care party that ends at a sensible hour.

Choose the stations that suit your group
Most mom groups pick two or three stations. Also, hosts guide every guest, so nobody needs to know a thing about skincare or perfume.

Mini-Facials
Licensed estheticians give each guest a relaxing mini-facial round. It is short and gentle, so moms rotate through while the others chat. These mini-facials for moms are often the highlight of the night.

Skincare Bar
Guests make a facial moisturizer, body butter, lotion, or scrub. Each mom chooses oils, serums, and add-ins for dry, acne-prone, or anti-aging skin. Our skincare party page shares more.

Perfume Bar
Guests blend an eau de parfum, meaning a concentrated perfume that is about 50% fragrance material. Prefer not to blend from scratch? Then choose a house signature instead.

Bath and Body Bar
Moms scoop bath salts, scrubs, oils, and botanicals, then finish with a handmade bath bomb. No water is needed, so it fits any room.

Lip Lab
A lip cream is a liquid lipstick that dries to a soft, velvety matte. Guests mix one, or a high-shine gloss, from a 16-shade swatch board.

Candy Bar
Our own carts arrive with glass apothecary jars full of sweets. It is the easiest station, and it pairs nicely with conversation.
Save the date for your mom group
Adult parties are quoted per event, not per head. A 50% deposit holds the date, and an itemized proposal arrives within 2 business days.
Spa party for moms ideas your group will love
Every mom group has its own personality. So here are three ways to shape the evening around yours.
Skincare bar formulas are kept on file. So when a mom finishes her moisturizer, her recipe is still there.
When moms need a night like this
A moms night out does not need a reason. Still, these moments make a natural excuse.
First week of school
The lunches are packed and the routines are set. Then it is time for moms to celebrate surviving August.
A mom's birthday
Skip the restaurant reservation this year. Instead, bring her friends home for a pampered evening in her honor.
Holiday recovery
January is quiet after the gift wrap and travel. So a cozy spa night gives the new year a gentle start.
End of the school year
Summer schedules scatter everyone soon. Before they do, gather the room parents and team moms for one last evening.
Book club upgrade
Trade one meeting for a skincare bar. Of course, the book can still come along for discussion.
Friends in other cities
We also host in Milwaukee and Indianapolis. That way, sisters and college friends can gather wherever the guest of honor lives.
Where to host a spa party for moms
Plan on a space about 12 x 6 feet, plus two 6-foot tables. If you need tables, we bring them for $30 each.
Your living room
An at home spa party feels the most relaxed. Then moms can kick off their shoes and stay as late as they like.
A neighborhood clubhouse
Subdivision clubhouses fit a larger group of moms. Also, nobody has to clean her own kitchen afterward.
A restaurant private room
Many restaurants offer private rooms. So dinner and the stations can happen in one place.
A hotel suite
Book a suite for a true night away from home. Then nobody has to make breakfast for once.
Our Mokena studio
Our studio at 19060 Everett Blvd opens in January 2027. The private party room holds up to 40, has a kitchen, and is BYOB for adults.
How your evening comes together
- Tell us about your group. First, share your date, guest count, and the stations you like. Weekends fill first, so 3 to 6 months ahead is ideal.
- Review your proposal. Next, an itemized proposal arrives within 2 business days. Then a 50% deposit holds your date.
- Add the details. Custom bottle labels are a paid add-on. Order them at booking, because printing takes about 4 weeks.
- We set the scene. Our team arrives 1 hour before guests with linens, mirrors, signage, and florals.
- You enjoy it. Hosts guide every station while you visit with friends. Afterward, we pack out and tidy up.
Full ingredient and allergen disclosures come before the party. So moms with sensitive skin can review everything ahead of time. Our allergens and safety page has more.

Spa party for moms: your questions
Is this the same as a mommy and me party?
No. This party is just for moms. For a version with kids, see our mommy and me spa day page.
What does a mini-facial include?
A licensed esthetician gives a short, relaxing, gentle mini-facial. It is not a full facial, so it fits easily into a party.
How much does it cost?
Adult parties are quoted per event, not per head. Your total depends on guest count, stations, and length. Perfume bars start at $500.
Can moms with sensitive skin join in?
Yes. We share full ingredient and allergen disclosures before the party, so everyone can review them first.
Do you come to the western suburbs?
Yes. We come to homes and clubhouses in Naperville, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Wheaton, and nearby towns.
Do you come to the North Shore and the city?
Yes. We host in Chicago, Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Lake Forest, and more.
Do you offer a spa party for moms in Milwaukee?
Yes. Our Milwaukee team serves the city, Mequon, Whitefish Bay, Brookfield, and Wauwatosa.
Do you host in Indianapolis?
Yes. A local team covers Indianapolis, Carmel, Zionsville, and Fishers.
Can we host it at your Mokena studio?
Yes, once it opens in January 2027. The private room holds up to 40, has a kitchen, and is BYOB for adults.
How far ahead should we book?
Plan 3 to 6 months ahead. Weekends fill first, so a weeknight can be a smart choice.
