A Bachelorette Spa Party for the Bride and Her Crew

A bachelorette spa party gives the bride a calm, glowing break between dress fittings and seating charts. Her friends get pampered too, and everyone leaves with something they made. So the celebration feels personal, not generic.

Glitters & Grace also brings mini-facials, a skincare bar, a perfume bar, and our Lip Lab to your suite, rental, or home. Planning the whole weekend? Our Chicago bachelorette guide has more ways to fill it.

Why choose a bachelorette spa party

Wedding planning is exciting, but it is also a lot. By the bachelorette weekend, many brides want rest more than another late night.

That's why a spa block works so well. First, a licensed esthetician, a licensed skincare professional, gives each guest a relaxing mini-facial. Then the group moves to the skincare or perfume bar. Meanwhile, the maid of honor finally gets to relax instead of running the schedule.

Plus, the bride can blend a scent for the wedding day itself. Every time she wears it, she will remember the people around that table. Even years later, it is wedding perfume with a story. For more time with our perfumer, book a fragrance consultation from $650.

Maid of honor tip

Schedule the spa block for the afternoon before dinner. Then everyone is relaxed, glowing, and ready for photos.

Stations for the bride and her friends

Often, bridal groups combine pampering with one creative station. Also, we add hosts for bigger groups, so lines keep moving.

Mini-Facials

Each guest enjoys a relaxing mini-facial round with a licensed esthetician. The bride, of course, goes first.

At our Full bar, the bride can blend her wedding scent from 120+ fragrances. Guests may also pick from house signatures instead.

Meanwhile, bridesmaids formulate a moisturizer or body butter for their own skin type. It also makes a thoughtful pre-wedding treat.

Mix a gloss or a lip cream, which dries like a soft, velvety liquid lipstick. Then the whole party can match for photos.

Reserve the bachelorette date

Weekends go first, so book 3 to 6 months ahead. Adult events are quoted per event, and a 50% deposit holds your date.

Bachelorette spa party ideas for her style

Of course, every bride has a different idea of fun. So here are three bachelorette party activities to match her.

The calm brideKeep it quiet with mini-facials, the bath bar, and soft music. Then end with a long, relaxed dinner.
The scent-obsessed brideInstead, build the day around perfume. She blends her wedding scent, and each bridesmaid creates one to wear on the big day.
The photo-ready bridePair the Lip Lab with the photo booth and custom signage. Also, match lip shades to the bridesmaid dresses.
Did you know?

Custom bottle labels can carry the wedding date or the couple's names. Order them at booking, because printing takes about 4 weeks.

When to schedule the spa block

A spa block slots into almost any bachelorette plan. So here are the moments that work best.

Friday arrival

Kick off the weekend as soon as guests arrive. Then strangers become friends before Saturday.

Saturday afternoon

Fit the spa between brunch and dinner, because it gives everyone a breather.

A stay-local celebration

Some brides skip the trip entirely. Instead, they host one afternoon of bridal party pampering at home.

With the shower

Or combine the bachelorette with a small shower for close family. Our bridal shower skincare bar shows that version.

Regional weekends

Celebrating in Milwaukee or Indianapolis? Our local teams there host too.

Week of the wedding

A quiet evening a few days before helps nerves settle. Plus, out-of-town bridesmaids are already here.

Where to host a bachelorette spa party

Plan on about 12 x 6 feet and two 6-foot tables. We also bring linens, and tables are $30 each if needed.

Hotel suite

A downtown suite makes the weekend feel like a getaway. Then we set up right in the living area.

Vacation rental

Large rental homes have room for every station. Then nobody has to leave in heels.

The bride's home

Hosting at home keeps the plan simple and the mood personal.

Restaurant private room

Pair dinner with a perfume bar in one reserved space. Together, they make an easy, elegant evening.

Mokena studio

Opening in January 2027, our private room holds up to 40. It is BYOB, and the kitchen is yours for food.

How the spa block works

  • Share the plan. First, send the date, the guest count, and the bride's favorite stations.
  • Get your proposal. Next, you receive an itemized proposal within 2 business days.
  • Hold the date. Then a 50% deposit locks in your time, and custom labels can be added.
  • We set up. Our team arrives 1 hour early with linens, mirrors, signage, and florals.
  • She relaxes. Hosts lead every station, and afterward we pack out. So the bride never lifts a finger.
Good to know

We share full ingredient and allergen disclosures ahead of time. So every bridesmaid can check for sensitivities before the weekend. Details live on our allergens page.

Bachelorette spa party questions

Do you do makeup or hair for the bride?

No. Instead, guests make their own lip color at the Lip Lab. We do not apply makeup or do hair.

Can the bride make her wedding perfume?

Yes, at the perfume bar. However, event bar formulas are not recorded, so a consultation is best if she wants it remade.

Adult events are quoted per event, not per person. Perfume bars start at $500.

Do you bring alcohol?

No. We do not serve alcohol. Our Mokena studio party room is BYOB for adults.

How big can the group be?

The skincare bar usually suits 20 and under. For larger groups, we add hosts so lines keep moving.

Do you come to Chicago hotels?

Do you travel to the suburbs?

Yes. We come to Naperville, Schaumburg, Barrington, Orland Park, and towns in between.

Can you host a bachelorette in Milwaukee?

Yes. Our Milwaukee team also covers the city, Mequon, Brookfield, and nearby areas.

Do you offer it in Indianapolis?

Yes. Plus, our local team serves Indianapolis, Carmel, Zionsville, and Fishers.

Can we book the Mokena studio?
