How it works, and what it costs
The term gets used loosely. Some vendors mean a table of pre-blended fragrance oils with a sign on it. Others mean a seated class. What we mean is a fully staffed station, run by a trained perfumer, where guests choose a base, select notes, blend in a real beaker, and leave with a bottled fragrance that is theirs alone.
It goes by several names — scent bar, fragrance bar, blending bar, scent station. They all describe the same idea, and the difference between a good one and a disappointing one is almost never the styling. It is what is in the bottles and who is standing behind the counter.

Check availabilityThree perfume bars, three different evenings
All three are built on the same materials and led by the same trained perfumers. What changes is whether guests blend, and how fast the line moves.
Up to 12 signature blends composed in our studio, and no blending step. The line keeps moving, which makes it the couture choice for large weddings, galas and high guest counts.
The complete blending experience with a library of more than 120 scents. Guests work alongside a perfumer to build a fragrance from the first note to the finished bottle.
Blending, beautifully streamlined. Six curated scents and a higher flow, so a full guest list still gets to blend. Our most popular bar for showers and bachelorettes.
Tell us your event, your guest count and your date. We'll recommend the right experiences and send an itemized proposal — no obligation.
Four steps, and we handle three of them
Choose your base
Twelve expertly crafted bases, built for longevity, balance and blendability.
Select your notes
One to three notes from the library. Top notes are the first impression; heart notes are the soul.
Blend and bottle
We blend in a real perfumer's beaker and pour into your atomizer, ready to wear.
Keep the formula
We record it and send a QR code, so the exact blend can be reordered any time.
Custom perfume, composed one to one
A perfume bar is an event. This is not that. Custom perfume creation is a private commission: a fragrance composed for one person, or one brand, by a trained perfumer working from a brief rather than a scent library on a counter.
It starts with a conversation about what you wear now, what you have loved, and what you have thrown away and why. From there we build, revise and refine until it is right. The finished formula stays on file so it can be made again for as long as you want it.

Perfume bar questions, answered
What is a perfume bar?
A staffed station where guests create their own fragrance. At ours a trained perfumer guides each guest through choosing a base, selecting notes, and blending and bottling a scent she takes home. It is also called a scent bar or a fragrance bar.
How is a perfume bar different from a fragrance workshop?
A perfume bar runs as a station guests visit during an event, so it works alongside a party. A fragrance workshop is a seated, instructional session with more theory and more time per person. We run both.
How much does a perfume bar cost?
Perfume bar pricing starts at about $500 and scales with guest count, station count, staffing and how long you need us. Most events land between $500 and $3,000. Send us your date and guest count and we will come back with a full proposal within two business days.
How many guests can you serve?
Anywhere from four or five up to several thousand. Throughput varies by format: the signature bar is fastest because there is no blending step, while a full blending session runs longer per guest.
What is actually in the fragrances?
Authentic perfumery materials - absolutes, CO2 extracts and essential oils - rather than the pre-blended fragrance oils sold for candles and soap. Every accord was composed in our own lab.
Can guests reorder the scent they made?
Yes. We record the formula and send a QR code, and we keep it on file indefinitely. Guests email us and we remake it exactly.
Do you make custom perfume outside of events?
Yes. Alongside the event bars we take private commissions - a fragrance composed one to one by a trained perfumer from a brief, rather than blended at a counter. Wedding day scents, milestone gifts, house fragrances and signature scents for a brand.
What about guests with fragrance sensitivities or allergies?
We provide full ingredient and allergen disclosure, and our hosts are trained to guide sensitive guests. Anyone can blend and bottle a fragrance to take home without applying anything to skin.
What do you need from our venue?
Floor space for the bar and access to a standard outlet, though several stations run without power. We bring the linens, displays, signage and lighting, and we provide certificates of insurance naming your venue.
Every guest leaves with something she made herself
