A Mother's Day Spa Party She Will Actually Remember
A Mother's Day spa party trades another vase of flowers for an afternoon she will talk about all summer. Grown daughters, sisters, and her closest friends gather around her. Then our team brings the spa, so nobody spends the holiday cleaning up.
Glitters & Grace sets up mini-facials, a skincare bar, and a perfume bar wherever you celebrate. For a gathering built around a mother daughter spa day any time of year, see our mother-daughter spa party. Our perfume bar page also explains every blending format.

- Book early for May
- Licensed estheticians
- Founder-formulated bases
- We pack out
Why a Mother's Day spa party beats another brunch
Brunch is lovely, of course. However, the table turns over quickly, and the photos all look alike. A spa afternoon gives the whole family something to do together.
First, a licensed esthetician, meaning a licensed skincare professional, gives mom a relaxing mini-facial. Next, her grown daughters mix skincare right beside her. Meanwhile, the perfume bar lets each guest blend a scent that will always smell like this day.
Plus, she leaves with things she made herself. A scent, a moisturizer, or a lip color carries the memory long after the flowers fade. That makes the party a Mother's Day gift that keeps on giving.
Ask mom to name her blend after her own mother. Then the scent honors two generations at once.

Stations to build her day around
Choose one station for an easy afternoon, or combine a few. Either way, our hosts guide each guest from start to finish.

Mini-Facials
Mom goes first, naturally. Each guest then enjoys a relaxing mini-facial round while the others visit.

Skincare Bar
All bases are unscented, so each guest adds her own fragrance. That is the fun of it. Daughters can formulate for dry, acne-prone, or anti-aging skin.

Perfume Bar
Blending starts with a base, the foundation a perfume is built on. Pick floral, fresh, musk, sophisticated, gourmand (sweet), or masculine, then layer notes from there.

Lip Lab
Our soft-matte lip cream works like a liquid lipstick and dries velvety. Prefer shine? Then mix a gloss instead. Matching shades for mom and daughter photograph beautifully.

Bath and Body Bar
Scoop salts, scrubs, and botanicals into a jar for her next quiet evening. Each guest also takes home a handmade bath bomb.

Photo Booth
Our digital photo booth catches three generations in one frame. Then everyone can share the photos that evening.
Reserve her Mother's Day date now
Spring weekends book quickly, so plan 3 to 6 months ahead. Adult events are quoted per event, and a 50% deposit holds your date.

Ways to celebrate in May
Mother's Day falls on a Sunday in May. Still, the celebration can land on any day that works for your family.
The Saturday before
Celebrate a day early, while restaurants are packed with everyone else. Then Sunday stays free for church or rest.
Sunday afternoon
After the morning cards and coffee, gather the family. A Mother's Day brunch at home can flow right into the stations.
A weeknight in May
Busy families sometimes prefer an evening during the week. As a result, the weekend stays open for travel.
A first Mother's Day
Honor a daughter celebrating her very first one. Mini-facials and the bath bar keep things calm and easy.
Long-distance moms
We have local teams in Milwaukee and Indianapolis too. So the family can celebrate wherever mom lives.
Remembering grandma
Some families blend a scent inspired by a grandmother's favorite flowers. It is a gentle way to bring her into the day.
Where to host your Mother's Day spa party
We need about 12 x 6 feet and two 6-foot tables. Don't have tables? We bring them for $30 each.
Mom's own home
She stays comfortable, and nobody drives afterward. Plus, her kitchen is right there for treats.
A daughter's house
Hosting at a daughter's home lets mom arrive as the guest. Then she walks into a room styled just for her.
A restaurant private room
Pair lunch with a station or two in one reserved space. It feels festive without any cleanup.
A church hall
Larger families fit comfortably in a fellowship hall. We bring linens, so the room feels elegant fast.
Mokena studio
Our studio opens in January 2027, well before next May. Its private room fits up to 40 with a kitchen, and adults may bring their own drinks.
Planning steps for a May celebration
- Start early. First, reach out 3 to 6 months ahead, because May weekends go fast.
- Pick the stations. Next, tell us who is coming and which stations she would love.
- Approve the plan. Then review your itemized proposal, sent within 2 business days, and place a 50% deposit.
- Order labels. Want her name on every bottle? Custom labels are a paid add-on, ordered at booking about 4 weeks ahead.
- Celebrate her. We arrive an hour early, host every station, and pack out afterward. So the family simply enjoys her.
We send full ingredient and allergen disclosures before the party. So everyone can check for sensitivities first. See our safety details.
