A make your own makeup party lets every guest create her own lip color from scratch. To be clear, nobody applies makeup to anyone. Instead, our hosts guide each guest as she mixes a shade at the Lip Lab, our mobile lip gloss bar.

Where the Lip Lab sets up
We need about 12 x 6 feet and two 6-foot tables. If you don't have tables, we bring them for $30 each.

A dining room or kitchen island works beautifully, and then the cleanup is ours.
Clubhouses
Subdivision clubhouses fit longer guest lists, so we add hosts to match.
Restaurant private rooms
Brunch or dinner becomes an event when the bar sits in the corner.

Mokena studio
Our Mokena studio opens in January 2027, with a private party room for up to 40 guests.
How a make your own makeup party comes together
- Reach out. First, share your date, guest count, and the finishes you'd like. Then we send an itemized proposal within 2 business days.
- Hold the date. A 50% deposit reserves it. Also, order custom labels at booking, since they take about 4 weeks.
- We set up. Our team arrives 1 hour before guests. We bring linens, mirrors, and the full swatch board.
- Guests create. Hosts walk each guest through her shade. Meanwhile, you get to enjoy your own party.
- We pack out. Finally, we clear the bar and tidy up, so your evening ends easily.

No. Instead, guests make their own lip color at the Lip Lab, and our hosts guide the mixing. We never apply makeup to anyone.

Two to three hosts serve about 100 guests over 3 hours. For bigger crowds, we simply add hosts.

Yes. We travel across Chicagoland, from Evanston and Winnetka to Naperville, Hinsdale, and Schaumburg.
Do you offer this in Milwaukee?
Yes. Our Milwaukee team has its own staff and equipment. It serves Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Mequon, and nearby towns.
Do you offer this in Indianapolis?
Yes. A local Indianapolis team brings the Lip Lab to Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville, and the city itself.
Can we host it at your Mokena studio?
Yes, once it opens in January 2027. The studio sits at 19060 Everett Blvd, Suite 107, and its private room holds up to 40 guests. Adults may bring their own drinks, and there's a kitchen for food.
Can I make lip color at the Mokena studio without a party?
Yes. Once the studio opens, guests can make their own lip color by appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments take priority, and walk-ins are welcome when the team can support them.
