A Perfume Making Party for Kids, Bottled by Little Perfumers
A perfume making party for kids turns a pile of pretty bottles into a scent each child invents. Guests sniff, choose, and blend kid-friendly scents. Then each one carries home a spray she made herself.
Our founder is a trained perfumer, so the bar is built on real perfumery materials. For a version that grows with older siblings, see the kids and teens perfume party. For grown-up options, visit make your own perfume.

Why a perfume making party for kids feels magical
Smell is closely tied to memory. Years from now, she may catch a scent and remember her seventh birthday. That's why a perfume party makes such a lasting favor.
Kids also love choosing without being judged. One guest wants strawberries, another wants flowers. So each blend reflects a small personality.
Hosts keep it simple for younger guests. Signage at the bar suggests blends, too. As a result, nobody stares at the bottles wondering where to start.
Ask her to name her perfume before the party. Then friends can guess the name from the scent.

Inside the perfume making party for kids
The perfume bar is the star. Meanwhile, a few other stations add variety for bigger groups.

Perfume Bar
Kids blend kid-friendly scents with a host at their side. Everything is an eau de parfum spray, meaning a concentrated perfume.

Scent Signage
Signs suggest easy blends for guests who'd rather not start from scratch. Also, they add to the decor.

Lip Lab
Guests mix a high-shine gloss from 16 shades. Plus, it pairs nicely with a new perfume.

Bath Bar
Salts, scrubs, oils, and botanicals become a handmade bath bomb. No water is needed.

Candy Bar
Our own carts hold glass apothecary jars of treats. It is the fastest station at any party.

Photo Booth
The digital photo booth snaps guests holding their new perfume. Later, families can share the photos.

Scent themes for little perfumers
A theme helps kids choose. Here are three playful directions.
Our perfumes use absolutes, CO2 extracts, and essential oils. An absolute is a highly concentrated aroma drawn from a flower.

Birthdays lead the list. However, scent fits many happy days.
