We come to showers, milestone birthdays, reunions and girls' nights from Bronzeville to Beverly. Then we pack everything out so the host can relax.
Why a Perfume Bar Works on the South Side
The South Side celebrates with family at the center. A baby shower might gather aunts from Chatham and cousins from the suburbs. Meanwhile, a graduation party near the University of Chicago can draw friends from across the city.
A perfume bar gives every generation something to do together. First, guests choose a base, such as floral, musk or gourmand (sweet). Then they layer in absolutes, which are highly concentrated aromas drawn from flowers, along with CO2 extracts and essential oils. The result is an eau de parfum, meaning a concentrated perfume.
Hosts here often plan a milestone birthday, a family reunion or a bridal shower in a church hall. Still, they want style without stress. Because we bring linens, decor and every bottle, the host gets to be a guest too.
Where We Set Up on the South Side
We come to homes, halls and party rooms across the South Side. All we need is about 12 by 6 feet.
Graystones and bungalows
A front parlor or finished basement fits the bar nicely. Plus, we bring linens and decor.
Church fellowship halls
Many showers and reunions happen in church halls, so their long tables suit a larger bar.
Banquet rooms
For 80 or more guests, the Signature format keeps lines short. We also send a certificate of insurance when asked.
Park fieldhouses and pavilions
In summer, a park pavilion works well. However, we need shade and a level surface.

Two studios
Our Studios, and Why the South Side Is Well Placed
The South Side sits between our two studio locations. First, the Mokena studio opens in January 2027, an easy trip down I-57 or I-80 for many families. Guests can book an appointment or walk in to make perfume or lip color. The private party room holds up to 40, with a kitchen for your own food and BYOB for adults.
Next, a second studio is planned for Chicago, opening in late 2028. Meanwhile, most South Side parties happen right at home, because we come to you. For 40 or more guests, we always bring the bars to your venue. Visit the studio page for details.
Perfume Bar Pricing for South Side Chicago Parties
Adult perfume bars start at $500, quoted per event and not per head. An itemized proposal arrives within 2 business days. A 50% deposit then holds your date.

We arrive 1 hour before guests. Two 6-foot tables are needed, or we bring them for $30 each.

Which South Side neighborhoods do you travel to?
We travel to all of them, from Bronzeville and Hyde Park to Chatham, Beverly and beyond.
Is the Mokena studio close to the South Side?
It sits south of the city, so it is a shorter trip than from the North Side. Once it opens in January 2027, the party room holds up to 40.
Will the Chicago studio be on the South Side?
We have not announced a neighborhood yet. A second studio is planned for Chicago, opening in late 2028.
Can you set up in a church hall?
Yes. Church halls are among our favorite rooms, and we bring linens to dress the tables.
Can kids join a family party?
Yes. Younger guests can use a kid-friendly Mini bar. We also host kids and teen parties plus corporate events.
What goes into the perfumes?
Absolutes, CO2 extracts and essential oils. Also, we send full ingredient and allergen information before every event.
