How our lipstick bar works
Each guest picks a finish, a soft-matte, high-pigment lip cream or a high-shine gloss, then blends their shade from cosmetic pigments, shimmers and opacity boosters.
Our hosts pour and package each lip color at the station, so guests leave with a finished tube.
Our lip bases are formulated by our founder, Cheryl Gleason, in our New Lenox lab, using natural, cosmetic-safe ingredients.

How many guests can a lipstick bar serve?
A Lip Lab typically runs with 2 to 3 hosts and serves about 100 guests in about 3 hours.
What ages is it for?
The Lip Lab is suitable for ages 5 and up. The Premium tier is designed for ages 16 and up.
Can you match a brand or wedding color?
Yes. We can match a lip shade to your brand or color palette and add custom labels.
