A Kids Skincare Party Hosted by Licensed Estheticians

Picture a kids skincare party where every girl gets a calm, cozy mini-facial from a real professional. That is the heart of our skincare station, and it is led by licensed estheticians (licensed skincare professionals).

It is pampering, not a treatment. Kids lean back, relax, and leave with a little glow and a lot of giggles. Our kids experiences are for ages 5 and up.

What Happens at a Mini Facial Party

A mini facial party moves at an easy pace. One guest at a time settles in with an esthetician while friends visit the other stations.

Each mini-facial is short and light. It gives every child a turn to feel fussed over, which is often the part she remembers most.

Some kids want the full experience. Others would rather watch first. Both are welcome, and nobody is ever pushed.

Why Estheticians Lead Our Kids Skincare Party

We think skin should be handled by people trained to care for it. So our skincare station is always led by licensed estheticians, not by general party staff.

Glitters & Grace was founded by Cheryl Gleason, a trained perfumer and cosmetic and skincare formulator who trained with master perfumer Karen Gilbert, at the Institute for Art and Olfaction, and through courses and workshops around the world. That background is why skincare gets this kind of care.

Families who love this station can explore the full mobile skincare bar for older guests and grown-up events.

Made by a trained perfumer

Every station was designed by our founder, Cheryl Gleason, a trained perfumer and cosmetic and skincare formulator who trained with master perfumer Karen Gilbert, at the Institute for Art and Olfaction, and through courses and workshops around the world. We ask about allergies when you book, and your contract covers allergen disclosures.

A Kids Facial Party With Friends Around Every Corner

A kids facial party works best with something for everyone to do while they wait. So most families pair skincare with one or two other stations.

Perfume

kids blend a scent from kid-friendly options. The finished spray is an eau de parfum (a long-lasting perfume strength) made with perfumer's alcohol.

Lip Lab

guests mix their own lip gloss, with a Kids tier for younger guests.

Bath

bath bombs to take home.

Candy cart

and a digital Photo Booth for the in-between moments.

See every option on our kids beauty party page.

Styling a Spa-Calm Room

The setting matters as much as the facials. Soft linens, mirrors, and florals turn a family room into a little spa for the afternoon.

You are welcome to style the tables to your theme. Some families go with soft whites and greens, while others pick her favorite color and run with it. Customized decor and personalized signage can tie it all together.

Plus, a quiet corner for the facial chair helps. Kids relax more easily when the music and the candy cart are a few steps away.

Planning a Tween Skincare Party

Tweens are often curious about skincare and ready to ask real questions. A tween skincare party gives them a grown-up feeling in a setting that still fits their age.

Tweens also enjoy the social side. Waiting for a facial turns into chatting at the Lip Lab, comparing scents, and taking photos together.

For ideas by age, see our tween birthday party ideas or the 12-year-old birthday party ideas page.

A Simple Skincare Routine for Tweens

Many parents like that a girls skincare party can also start a healthy conversation. A skincare routine for tweens can be very simple, and simple is the point.

During the facials, our estheticians can share easy, age-appropriate tips. Any questions about a specific skin concern belong with your child's doctor.

The Practical Side of a Skincare Party for Kids

Our team arrives one hour early to set up the skincare station and every other station you choose. We bring linens, mirrors, and personalized signage. Families provide tables, or we bring them for a small fee.

After the party, we clean up and pack out. Your only job is to enjoy the girls, the photos, and the cake.

Need help with a big guest list? Extra hosts can be added so every station keeps moving.

We ask about allergies when you book, and the contract covers allergen disclosures. Please share any skin sensitivities among your guests at that time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a kids skincare party right for a 5-year-old?

Our kids experiences start at ages 5 and up. Younger guests usually love the pampering itself. You know your child best, so pick the stations that fit her.

Can girls skip the facial?

Yes. Any guest can sit out a station. She can spend that time blending perfume, mixing gloss, or posing in the photo booth.

How is a kids skincare party priced?

Parties are priced by guest count and stations, from $475. Extra hosts can be added for larger groups. Your guest count can go up after booking but not down.

Can we host it at your studio?

Yes. Our Mokena studio has a party room and a kitchen, and families can bring their own food. Learn more about the Mokena perfume bar studio.
