Blend a Billie Eilish-Inspired Perfume at Our Mobile Perfume Bar From New Lenox
Our mobile perfume bar travels out of New Lenox, where I make every fragrance by hand in our lab, and one of my favorite games at the bar is building scents inspired by perfumes people already love. This time, it is Billie Eilish's debut fragrance.
I have tried this one myself. Sometimes I nail an inspired blend on the first try. Other times it takes a few rounds. Here is how I approach it, and how your guests can, too.

What makes a Billie Eilish-inspired perfume
Billie's debut fragrance is a warm, sensual amber gourmand. Gourmand is the perfume word for scents that smell edible: vanilla, cocoa, caramel, sugar. Hers blends creamy vanilla, soft musks and rich cocoa into something cozy and gender-neutral. It is meant to feel like a hug.
That is why it is so fun to recreate. Guests are not chasing a perfect copy. They are chasing a mood: intimate, nostalgic and a little moody. We are not affiliated with Billie Eilish or her fragrance. We simply love the style.
An inspired blend is your own perfume with a familiar feeling. It will never be identical to the original, and that is the best part.
Bring the bar to your party
Most Saturdays need six to eight weeks, and May, September and December need longer. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway. We have a large team of hosts and can often fit you in on short notice.
The notes to reach for
Every blend at our bar starts from a base, the foundation a perfume is built on. We offer six base styles: floral, masculine, fresh, musk, sophisticated and gourmand (sweet). For a Billie-inspired scent, start with gourmand. If you want it softer and more skin-like, try musk.
Then layer in notes like these. Vanilla absolute is creamy and comforting. An absolute is one of the richest concentrated plant extracts perfumers use. Amber resin is warm and golden, with a hint of mystery. A musk accord feels soft and close to the skin; an accord is a small blend of materials that reads as one note. Cocoa extract adds an earthy, indulgent depth.
Finally, add a little mandarin peel. It brings a bright, fresh lift so the blend does not feel heavy. One or two drops is plenty.
How it works at our mobile perfume bar in New Lenox and beyond
Our hosts guide each guest from the first sniff to the finished bottle. Signage suggests combinations, so nobody has to decide from scratch. For an inspired blend like this one, choose one of our blending bars. The Full Perfume Bar offers 120+ fragrances, which gives you the most room to play. The Mini offers 60+ fragrance materials.
Blending bars serve about 50 guests per hour. If your guest list is long, our Signature Perfume Bar moves 85 to 100 guests per hour. It is not a blending bar; guests choose from up to 12 in-house signature scents, and you can ask us to include a warm gourmand among them.
Every guest takes home one product: an eau de parfum, a perfume-strength spray made at 50% fragrance material to perfumer's alcohol. Bottles come in 15 ml and 20 ml. We work with absolutes, CO2 extracts and essential oils, the concentrated natural extracts perfumers use.
Parties where a Billie-inspired blend fits
Cozy scents love cold weather. A Billie-inspired blend is a natural for a holiday party, a winter wedding or a girls' night in with blankets and cocoa. It also suits a birthday for a music-loving teen. Guests ages 5 and up can join, with age-appropriate formulas for kids.

Our home base is Chicagoland, with New Lenox, Frankfort, Naperville and Elmhurst all close by. We also serve greater Milwaukee and the Indianapolis metro, with no travel fee in any of the three.
A keepsake, not just a craft
Inspired blends make great conversation. Guests compare bottles, swap sniffs and argue happily over who got closest. It is the kind of moment that ends up on everyone's phone.
One gentle note: we do not record individual formulas at event bars. If someone wants a scent they can remake again and again, that is what a one-to-one fragrance consultation is for. It costs $650, and the formula is recorded.

How booking works
- Share the basics. Send your date, venue, rough guest count and occasion through the booking form.
- Get your proposal. We reply within two business days with an itemized proposal. There is no charge and no obligation.
- Sign and set your count. After you sign, your guest count can go up but not down, so book your lowest expected count.
- Meet your team. A week before the party, you receive your host details and arrival time.
- Blend away. We arrive one hour before start time to set up, host every guest, then pack out and clean up.

No. It is your own perfume, inspired by the same warm, vanilla and amber mood.
Which perfume bar should we book for inspired blends?
A blending bar. The Full bar has 120+ fragrances and the Mini has 60+. The Signature bar is not a blending bar.
