A Bath Bomb Party Kids Can Take Home

A bath bomb party gives kids something to make, something to smell, and something to carry home at the end of the day. At Glitters & Grace, our Bath station turns that idea into a hosted, hands-on table your guests will crowd around.

We bring the setup and the hosts. You bring the birthday girl and her friends.

What Happens at the Bath Station

Picture a table set with linens, mirrors, and bright supplies. A host welcomes each small group and walks them through bath bomb making for kids, one step at a time.

Because a host runs the table, you never have to measure, mix, or wipe up. Your job is to take photos and refill the lemonade.

Kids experiences are for ages 5 and up. Younger guests love the colors, and older kids enjoy making choices that feel grown up.

Why a Bath Bomb Birthday Party Feels Different

A lot of birthdays revolve around running, shouting, and sugar. A bath bomb birthday party slows things down in a good way.

Kids sit together, talk, and create. They also leave with a keepsake that stretches the party into bath time at home.

Parents tell us they like that the favor is something their child actually made. It means more than a bag of trinkets, and it gets used.

It also fits almost any theme. Pastel unicorns, a mermaid lagoon, a Paris café, or her favorite color can all carry through the decor, the signage, and the table linens. We offer customized decor, personalized signage, mirrors, and florals to tie it together.

Made by a trained perfumer

Every station was designed by our founder, Cheryl Gleason, a trained perfumer and cosmetic and skincare formulator who trained with master perfumer Karen Gilbert, at the Institute for Art and Olfaction, and through courses and workshops around the world. We ask about allergies when you book, and your contract covers allergen disclosures.

Building a DIY Spa Party Around Bath Bombs

A DIY spa party is all about letting kids make their own treats. Bath bombs are an easy anchor, and you can add more stations to round out the day.

Popular pairings include:

Lip Lab

Guests mix their own lip gloss, with a Kids tier sized for little hands.

Perfume

Kids blend their own scent from kid-friendly options, with signage that suggests blends.

Skincare

Mini-facials led by licensed estheticians (licensed skincare professionals).

Candy

A candy cart styled to your colors.

Photo Booth

A digital booth for group shots.

Mix and match to fit your guest list and your space. Our mobile spa party for kids page shows how the stations flow together.

A Bath and Body Party for Kids, Step by Step

Here is what a typical bath and body party for kids looks like from your side of the door.

Before the party. You book, share your guest count, and tell us about any allergies. Your contract covers allergen disclosures.

One hour before. Our team arrives to set up. You provide tables, or we bring them for a small fee. We bring linens, and you are welcome to style them to your theme.

During the party. Hosts run every station while guests rotate. Larger groups can add extra hosts so lines stay short.

After the party. We pack up and clean up. You keep the memories and the bath bomb party for kids photos.

Hosting a DIY Spa Birthday Party at Home or in Mokena

Most families host a DIY spa birthday party at home. A kitchen, dining room, or finished basement works well for a bath bomb making party.

If you would rather keep the mess out of your house, our Mokena studio is another option. It has a party room and a kitchen, and families can bring their own food. Learn more on our Mokena studio page.

Families in Homer Glen, Lockport, New Lenox, Frankfort, Orland Park, and Tinley Park are just minutes away. We also serve the rest of Chicagoland, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis with local hosts in each market.

How Pricing Works

Every bath bomb party is priced by guest count and stations, with a $475 event minimum. Extra hosts can be added if you have a big group.

One tip: guest count can go up after booking but not down. So book your lowest expected count, then add friends as RSVPs come in. Read our full guide to kids spa party cost for more detail.
