Our commitment to sustainability and the environment
We work to reduce waste and use resources carefully across the business. From packaging to production, we keep looking for practical ways to lower our impact.
That means recyclable and minimal packaging wherever we can find it. It also means using energy and water thoughtfully in our studio and in our New Lenox lab, where our products are made by hand.
None of this is a finish line. It is a habit we keep working on, one choice at a time.

Where sustainability shows up in our work
Four places we put our values into practice.
Natural materials
We choose responsibly sourced natural materials whenever we can: absolutes, CO2 extracts and essential oils. In plain words, these are the concentrated natural extracts perfumers use.
Safety standards
We follow IFRA standards, the guidelines the fragrance industry uses for safe use of materials, and share full ingredient and allergen information before every event. Allergens and safety
Thoughtful sourcing
We prefer suppliers who are open about where their materials come from and how they are produced. We ask about origin, and we favor sources that treat growers and workers fairly.
Reusable party setups
Our displays and tools are reusable, as are our linens when you add them on, and we cut back on single-use plastics where we can.
Ask us anything
Have a question about materials or packaging? Ask when you book. Most Saturdays need six to eight weeks' notice, and if your date is sooner, reach out anyway. We have a large team of hosts and can often fit you in on short notice.
Sustainability in perfumery
Beautiful fragrance should never come at the expense of the planet. That belief guides what we buy, how much we buy and who we buy it from.
Our founder, Cheryl Gleason, is a trained perfumer and cosmetic and skincare formulator. She studied with master perfumer Karen Gilbert and at the Institute for Art and Olfaction in Los Angeles. Knowing materials well means knowing where they come from, and that knowledge shapes every order we place.
We also keep our perfume bar focused. It makes one product, an eau de parfum, a perfume-strength spray, in 15 ml or 20 ml bottles. A short list of products means fewer packaging types to source and less left over.

How booking works
- Share the basics. Send your date, venue, rough guest count and occasion through the booking form.
- Get your proposal. We reply within two business days with an itemized proposal, with no charge and no obligation.
- Sign and set your count. After you sign, the guest count can go up but not down, so book your lowest expected count.
- Meet your team. A week before, you receive host details and arrival time.
- Celebrate. We arrive one hour early, host every guest, then pack out and clean up.
