Celebrating Her Bat Mitzvah in Mequon With Scent and Sparkle
A bat mitzvah party in Mequon honors a big moment with family, friends and a little glamour. A bat mitzvah is a Jewish coming-of-age milestone for girls, usually marked at 12 or 13.
Our bars belong to the celebration afterward, never the service itself. So our Milwaukee team brings perfume, lip color, candy and a photo booth to your home or reception room.
Bat Mitzvah Party Themes for Mequon
Let her personality lead first. Then add touches that tie the night to home.
Starry Havdalah Evening
Havdalah is the short ritual that closes Shabbat on Saturday night. A navy and silver party right after feels fitting, especially with a soft musk scent.
Garden Brunch Sunday
A Sunday brunch in the yard pairs with fresh florals and a pastel candy cart. Then guests mix a rosy gloss before dessert.
Her Signature Collection
She chooses 12 scents ahead and names each one. Next, guests pick a favorite as the night's keepsake.
Shaping a Bat Mitzvah Party in Mequon Around Shabbat
Shabbat, the Jewish day of rest, runs from Friday sundown to Saturday nightfall. As a result, many families plan the party for Saturday evening, once Shabbat ends, or for Sunday. Since Wisconsin winter nights fall early, a Saturday party can even start at a comfortable hour.
We plan our setup around that schedule, too. Our team arrives an hour before guests, so the bars are ready the moment doors open. Then the perfume bar becomes a gathering spot for her friends while adults mingle.
Each guest also leaves with something she made, such as an eau de parfum, the stronger, concentrated form of perfume, or a lip shade. Meanwhile, grandparents enjoy watching, and some even blend a bottle of their own.

For a big reception, the Signature bar serves 85 to 100 guests an hour from up to 12 house scents. For her inner circle, however, a blending bar adds depth.

For a bat mitzvah party, we come to Mequon homes, halls and hotel rooms alike. Even so, the core setup needs only about 12 by 6 feet.
Family homes
A smaller celebration fits a great room and patio, while the kitchen stays free for caterers.
Hotel ballrooms
Larger receptions often fill a hotel or club ballroom, so we share our needs with the coordinator early.
Social halls
Halls with kitchens make catering easy, but ask about decor rules before booking.
Restaurant private rooms
A Sunday luncheon in a private dining room suits a smaller list, since the bar fits on one table.
Timing a Bat Mitzvah Party in Mequon
Shabbat ends early in December and January, so Saturday parties can begin at a comfortable hour.
Spring weekends book quickly, especially Saturday nights, so plan 3 to 6 months ahead.
Late sunsets push Saturday parties later, so Sunday daytime often works better.
Fall holidays and the new school year shape the calendar, so pick dates early.
Two studios
Our Studios and Your Celebration
Glitters & Grace opens its Mokena studio in January 2027, at 19060 Everett Blvd, Suite 107. Appointments come first for making perfume or lip color, although walk-ins are welcome when staffing allows.
A private room there hosts up to 40, with a kitchen and BYOB for adults. Later, a second studio is planned for Chicago, opening in late 2028. Still, both are in Illinois, so for this celebration our Milwaukee team always comes to you. Meanwhile, the studio page has updates.

Pricing a Bat Mitzvah Celebration
Kids and teen parties start at $475, a base for up to 8 guests. Larger receptions, however, are quoted per event on an itemized proposal, which arrives within 2 business days.
